Jakarta, Indonesia – Business Continuity Planning Asia Pte Ltd (BCP Asia) continues to fulfill its role as the region’s most trusted partner in Business Continuity Management (BCM) as it prepares to launch the inaugural run of its Asia Business Continuity Seminar (ABCS) on 6 December 2012 at the Jakarta Convention Centre.
An event adjunct to the annually-held Asia Business Continuity Conference (ABCC), the ABCS aims to promote awareness on BCM – which, according to Henry Ee, Managing Director of BCP Asia, is in line with the company’s mission vision statement.
“Our main goals have always been to prepare businesses for the unexpected and to enhance the BCM knowledge of professionals in the region. So far, we have been successful with the annual holding of the ABCC and other such events, and we intend to achieve the same with the ABCS,” he said.
With regards to the difference between the ABCS and other BCP Asia events, Henry emphasized that the approach used is what makes the ABCS a unique and highly interesting BCM event.
“Though the goals we aim to achieve are the same, we are using a more targeted approach for the ABCS. This means that the discussions are more relevant to the audience in attendance and are specific to where the seminar is being held at that time. We will also be inviting local speakers for these seminars to ensure that they can relate and interact well with the participants,” he said.
